Rate: $69.62 - $93.98 per hour (based on experience)

The Certified Nurse Midwife - Intrapartum (CNM) works under the direction of the Medical Director, MBCC Director, and Women’s Services Manager. The CNM is a registered nurse certified as a CNM with additional clinical and didactic education to perform advanced nursing practice. Responsibilities include physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment, direct patient care, education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff. The CNM focuses on pregnancy and women’s health, performs deliveries, and provides comprehensive care for women and newborns.

• One (1) year experience in women’s health services or obstetrics
• Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics

• Current licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife (California Board of Registered Nursing)
• Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives or its Certification Council
• Current CPR Certification
• Current licensure as a Furnisher (California Board of Registered Nursing) or proof of application within 6 months of hire
• Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number and proof of application upon hire
• Meet Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements to bill Medicare
• Credentialed through Enloe Medical Staff and Finance offices
• Current NRP Certification within 3 months of hire
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring within 3 months of hire
• Surgical Assist course within 6 months of hire

Must be confident and experienced working independently with diverse patient populations, accessing specialty referrals, and community resources. Communication skills (written and verbal) required. Able to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information, and problem-solve. Behavior reflective of Enloe Medical Center core values and able to perform essential functions of the job.
