Position Overview :

• The location is in Chico, CA
• The working schedule for this role is Day shift, 10 hours, start time ; possible float to Med Surg
• The duration is as a contactor for 13 weeks
• The anticipated start for this role is two weeks after an accepted offer
• Holiday requirements are as needed
• Guaranteed hours: 40

• The pay: $89.75 Hourly ($2,760.00 Taxable, $830.00 Stipend) = $3,590.00 Weekly = $14,360.00 Monthly Gross

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
• Recording patient vital signs and medical information
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
• Administering non‑intravenous medications
• Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered RN state licensure
• 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the appropriate unit for this role
• Recent Infusion clinic experience
• Chemotherapy certification required with recent chemotherapy administration experience
• Four years of acute nursing experience in an Oncology setting required
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS certification
• Bachelor degree in nursing preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff
• Basic computer skills
