This Part‑Time Leasing Specialist supports Gateway Apartments during the heavy leasing seasons in spring and summer. The student housing property houses 40 units and 158 beds.

What You’ll Be Doing- Perform all sales and leasing activities to achieve community revenue and occupancy goals.
- Greet, interact with, and qualify prospective residents.
- Initiate the screening process for prospective residents.
- Secure lease agreements.
- Conduct community tours, show apartment homes, and process applications.
- Follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction in finalizing leasing decisions.
- Respond quickly and courteously to resident concerns, partnering with office or maintenance teams to resolve issues.
- Communicate lease expirations and facilitate renewals.
- Ensure models and amenities remain physically appealing.
- Assist with property marketing activities and resident events.
- Travel to different sites as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing.
- Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite; ability to quickly learn new software.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Must be able to work on site; remote work is not eligible.
- Hourly rate: $20 per hour.
- Performance‑driven bonuses may be offered.
- Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
- Work in a professional office environment.
- Use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
- Regularly sit and move around the work environment.
- Communicate verbally with employees, co‑workers, and customers in person and by phone.
- Travel to various worksites, which may include overnight stays, flights, or prolonged vehicle travel.
