Summary
The Assistant in Training (AIT) and Assistant Manager positions focus on delivering an enjoyable shopping experience. AIT and Assistant Managers perform sales, merchandising, operational tasks, and leadership duties. The Assistant Manager advances from the AIT role, adding high‑level responsibilities while sharing many core duties.
Compensation & BenefitsPay range: $19–$23/hr (base plus commission for sales positions).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide legendary customer service across front‑5, sales floor, fitting rooms, and register area.
- Use product knowledge and Sales Presentation Guide (SPG) to achieve personal and store sales goals.
- Recruit, train, and develop teammates; maintain positive floor culture and coaching skills.
- Own visual merchandising: zone ownership, visual standards, and weekly visual checklist.
- Execute operational tasks: POS procedures, opening/closing checklists, loss prevention, security, inventory management.
- Lead by example: showmanship, customer service excellence, and ownership of store performance.
High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
Physical DemandsStand, walk, use hands to lift/manipulate 50 lbs throughout store and backroom. Reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally sit. Vision ability: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
