Automated Logic – BAS/BMS Lead Field Technician

Automated Logic, a Carrier company, is seeking a Lead Field Technician to lead complex commissioning, solve deep system problems, and mentor newer technicians across HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.

• Lead commissioning and optimization of advanced BAS for HVAC, lighting, and energy systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and integration issues across multiple platforms (WebCTRL®, Niagara, Schneider, Honeywell).
• Integrate third‑party systems using BACnet, Modbus, or Lon Works.
• Configure controls, trends, alarms, and reports; manage secure network connections.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Deliver customer training and ensure systems perform exactly as promised.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or technical field.
• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade.
• Capable of lifting items up to 50lbs.
• Valid current Driver’s License and ability to be insured by company’s insurance.

• Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in HVAC, Controls, or related field.
• Proficiency with advanced building automation software such as WebCTRL.
• Experience integrating multiple building automation systems.
• Expertise with TCP/IP networks including wireless technology.
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous challenges across disciplines.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information to non‑technical audiences.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications.
