Full time | Day Shift

• Greets patients and communicates via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
• Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member or provider in a timely manner.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
• Performs patient registration, insurance verification, copay and point‑of‑service collections, pre‑certification, prior authorizations, referrals, chart prep, and manages incoming and outgoing faxes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with in a medical office or billing department preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency in a Windows‑based computer environment and Microsoft Office products.
• Accuracy, dependability, and a strong commitment to patient‑centered care.
