Medical Receptionist - Adult Medicine - Chicopee

Pay range: $17.00/hr - $22.90/hr

Shift: Day Shift

Description: You would be responsible for accurate registration, co‑pay collection and scheduling of patients within the Adult Medicine practices. Assists internal and external customers with clerical tasks. Communicates in a positive, professional manner and maintains a high level of customer service.

What You Will Do:

• Be comfortable learning new software and ensuring data entry into physician billing software.
• Provide a positive patient experience from screening incoming patient calls to end of visit.
• Maintain schedules and appointments for physicians.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with in a medical office or billing department preferred. Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
