Overview
BCI is hiring a Senior Behavior Specialist (SBS) to provide high‑quality, evidence‑based, contemporary ABA therapy to children with autism. SBSs have demonstrated expertise in behavior treatment and are progressing toward certification, licensure, and credentialing. They work under the direction of a behavior analyst, providing treatment by protocol, supervising cases, and accruing hours toward certification.
Key Responsibilities- Provide behavior treatment by protocol to clients, as‑needed.
- Provide clinical direction to technicians, as‑needed.
- Assist behavior analysts in protocol modification, assessments, family treatment guidance, treatment planning, and clinical programming.
- Follow guidelines regarding time spent on non‑billable activities.
- Ensure data is collected and recorded with fidelity and reliability.
- Complete mandatory trainings and attend required meetings.
- Document services delivered accurately and timely according to company policies.
- Report clinical and scheduling concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all company compliance policies, written or unwritten.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Master’s degree or enrolled in Master’s degree program.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or expected to sit for the BCBA exam within 12 months of obtaining a master’s.
- Supervision hours in progress or completed (as outlined by BACB requirements).
- Certification, registration, and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior treatment.
