Job Description: Information about the Company:
Cenveo, a world leader in the management and distribution of print and related offerings, is hiring immediately for a Utility Worker for its envelope manufacturing facility in Chicopee, MA for 2nd shift: 3pm — 11pm. Utility Worker Pay & Schedule

• $18-19/hr depending on experience; $1/hr 2nd shift premium
• Training may take place on 1st shift (7am — 3pm)
• Schedule is Monday — Friday (Saturdays required during busy season/business needs)

• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse, plant, or work site using warehouse equipment — forklift (sit down/stand up), pallet jack, etc.
• Prepares products for shipment; keeps record of goods shipped.
• Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.
• Prepares identifying information (labeling) and shipping instructions on containers.
• Notifies supervisor of major incidents of damage to materials received or scheduled to be shipped.
• Receives, unpacks, and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and other records; route incoming goods to departments.
• Other duties as assigned/required.

• This position requires grasping objects utilizing manual dexterity including hand/finger coordination, hand/eye and foot coordination, the utilization of color vision and depth perception.
• This position requires prolonged standing/sitting, regularly lift, carry, walk, climb, bend, extend and reach.
• This position requires one to accept and understand verbal instructions.
• Warehouse and plant environment with exposure to cold, heat, dust and noise.

• High School diploma or equivalent, with mathematics emphasis.
• A minimum of 3 years related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift/power truck certification preferred.
• Requires thorough knowledge of the shipping/receiving function and warehouse operations.
• Requires data entry, math, computer and good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with various levels of the organization/vendors.
• Solid attention to detail; reliable.
• Attention to detail is required.
