Ethos Energy is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Machinist B to join our Chicopee facility. • Set up and operate VTL machines to produce a wide range of components—including precision parts, split cases, spherical items, and segmented assemblies.
• Achieve ultra-tight tolerances of less than .0005", ensuring top-tier quality and performance.
• Work with limited supervision in a collaborative environment that values craftsmanship and continuous improvement.

• Proven experience with VTL machining and precision manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Operate machinery and equipment following all safety requirements.
• Operate machinery independently, making necessary tooling changes and offsets to the program.
• Perform required self-inspection of parts as they are produced.
• Record the required inspection data on Self-Inspection Reports (SIRs).
• Maintain production levels to meet standards.
• Use crane operation skills for material handling or machine fixture movement.
• Follow job travelers, procedures, drawings, and work instructions to perform technical requirements for product manufactured.
• Handle material safely and in accordance with safety requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping requirements for the assigned workstation.

• Ability to interpret blueprints, process documentation, and mathematically determine machine offsets.
• Ability to read all measuring and gauging instruments, work instructions.
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.

• Minimum 3 years of manual or CNC VTL machine operation experience or trade school diploma with machining experience.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Frequently required to push, pull, and lift up to 75 lbs.

• Pay range for this position is $24.00–$29.00 based on experience and skill set.
