General Inspector 2nd Shift

Overview

General Inspector – 2nd Shift – Chicopee, MA – U.S. Tsubaki Automotive, LLC – supplier of high-speed chain drive systems to the automotive industry.

• Perform repetitive inspection and packing of a variety of similar chain products using fixed gauges and visual inspection to establish conformity of product to specifications.
• Check length, width, radii, and surface condition to meet established specifications.
• Prepare chain for shipment, apply bar code, and maintain traceability.
• Record production and time data and report to Payroll.
• Perform pin sorting, stringer duties, and maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment highly desired.
• Strong focus on quality, ability to work well in a team, mechanical aptitude, and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use material handling devices such as hand trucks and hydraulic lift trucks.
