Responsibilities- Manage all resources to promote teamwork, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
- Ensure all EHS standards and quality procedures are followed and work directly with EHS and Quality Lead to exceed objectives.
- Align production goals with broader organizational objectives and respond to changing priorities with clarity and confidence.
- Plan and establish production and manufacturing priorities and monitor all production data to maintain on-time delivery.
- Communicate monthly production requirements and coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Maintenance, and Quality Control to achieve optimal utilization of resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational problems, throughput, and long‑range production plans.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and evaluate staff; provide constructive performance feedback.
- Oversee daily workflow, collaborate with other managers, and establish daily/weekly/monthly schedules to meet timelines.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and union engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 10+ years of progressive production or manufacturing management experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
- Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams to meet production targets, improve efficiency, and maintain quality standards.
- Experience developing and implementing production schedules, managing workflow, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze production metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methods.
- Familiarity with compliance standards including OSHA and Quality Management systems (IATF, ISO).
- Automotive Tier 1 experience highly desired.
- History of mentoring and developing team members and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and performance.
- Experience working in a union plant required.
Estimated salary range is $110,000-$135,000 per year.
