The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) in Springfield, MA. ACCS is funded through the Department of Mental Health and provides a multidisciplinary outreach approach for individuals in need of psychiatric and other services living independently in the community.
This role involves active engagement including assertive outreach, assessment, treatment planning, skill building, symptom management, addiction treatment, and behavioral and physical health monitoring and support. We offer a generous sign-on bonus of $2,500 and flexible scheduling options.
Your Role as a Registered Nurse:ACCS teams include licensed clinicians, RNs, housing specialists, substance use specialists, direct care staff, and peer/family specialists. The team collaborates to provide person-centered, evidence-based services aligned with treatment goals. The RN coordinates activities that promote health, provides direct support to individuals to assess needs, participates in medical reviews, offers counseling on health and psycho-physiological well-being, and liaises with other medical and community providers.
This is an administrative RN role.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Registered Nurse license in MA required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates required
- Two years of experience in mental health and/or substance use field preferred
- MAP experience and residential experience preferred
The ideal RN will demonstrate enthusiasm, dedication to working with persons served, and commitment to achieving medical and medication goals.
Compensation and Benefits:Annual salary: $80,000 with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include dental, health, and life insurance, paid time off, vacation, and holidays.
