The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Crisis Stabilization Unit located in Chicopee. If you are a nurse with a passion for providing exceptional care, CHD's Crisis Stabilization Unit seeks a full‑time 2nd shift Nurse (Monday‑Friday, 3 pm‑11 pm) to support our outstanding team.

• Collaborating with nurses, physicians, advance practice nurses, psychologists, social workers, or other professionals
• Collaborating with guardians, relatives, and significant others of people served when clinically indicated
• Documenting assessments and treatments in the electronic health record
• Monitoring vital signs
• Assessment of signs of substance withdrawal and completion of standardized assessment tools such as the Clinical Opioid Withdrawal Scale (COWS, CIWA, CIWAb)
• Filling physician orders
• Administering medications
• Engaging in a medication reconciliation process
• Coordinating medical care
• Contributing to comprehensive assessments
• Brief crisis counseling
• Individualized crisis prevention planning
• Providing psychoeducation
• Assisting with discharge planning and care coordination.

Pay rates: RN $45.00/hr, LPN $35.00/hr
