Quality Inspector

Ethos Energy is currently seeking a Quality Inspector I for our facility in Chicopee, MA.

The role ensures that products and materials meet established quality, safety, and manufacturer requirements before they leave the facility. This involves inspecting items at various stages of production (incoming, in‑process, and final) to identify defects and prevent non‑conforming products from leaving the facility.

• Perform in‑process and final inspection of parts as they are produced. Interact directly with operations to achieve dimensional part conformance.
• Perform receiving inspections of materials and verify certifications and conditions.
• Perform first‑piece inspections and verify Self Inspection Reports (SIR’s).
• Maintain production levels to meet Standards.
• Apply crane operation skills for material handling.
• Follow inspection procedures and create required quality document packages.
• Train on all systems utilized in the QC process.
• Systems:
  Epicor, CMM, White Light, Moment Weigh, & Rockwell.

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMMs, etc.).
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications (GD&T knowledge is a plus).
• Computer literacy, including working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) and data entry into quality management software/databases.

• Minimum of 3 years as a QC inspector.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Annual salary range: $54,000.00 – $68,000.00 (based on experience and skill set).
