Overview

Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi‑generational family‑owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator and car wash operator in New England. Our wholesale and retail fuel businesses carry multiple branded brands—Shell, Mobil, Irving, Sunoco, Gulf, Valero, Citgo, Phillips 66, Exxon—and numerous unbranded brands. We supply branded and unbranded fuel to over 300 locations across New England and New York, operate more than 150 company‑owned convenience stores, and are ranked among the top 10 largest car wash chains in the country.

• Work a flexible schedule as needed and communicate verbally and in writing with management on store operations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, professional manner and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Prepare a shift report at the end of each shift in accordance with company guidelines.
• Ensure the shift contributes to the increased profitability and growth of the store and that customers’ needs are met at every step.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Provide the best customer experience to every customer.
• Greet each customer with a smile and a sincere greeting.
• Suggest possible purchases and promote specials.
• Assume full responsibility for executing the customer‑service program at the site level.

• Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers.
• Enforce all environmental and hazardous‑material regulations.
• Maintain safety and security of the store and document any accidents or incidents.
• Manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the perimeter of the store.
• Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support implementation of the Safety and Health program.
• Promptly report workplace accidents, injuries, incidents, or illnesses.
• Complete the new‑employee safety orientation procedure.

• Read, understand, and write in English at an eighth‑grade level.
• Perform arithmetic calculations at an eighth‑grade level for making change, preparing shift reports, and accounting for products during vendor check‑in.
• Validate identification for tobacco and/or alcohol sales as required by regulations.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and carry cases of milk cartons, soft drinks, beer, and juice containers using proper lifting techniques.
• Remain calm and respond according to policies and procedures in emergencies.
• Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products.
• Work in various temperature environments (coolers, outdoor weather conditions, and indoor).
• Perform general housekeeping duties as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Maintain physical cleanliness, safety, and attractiveness of all store facilities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Traverse and access all areas of the store.
• Spend prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Spend prolonged periods standing.
