Job Overview
AWC Support Specialist –
Service Net – Part‑time, Per‑Diem, Chicopee, MA. Service Net seeks compassionate, dedicated staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities. AWC Support Staff engage in recreational outings, skill‑building, and family activities, advancing client independence and community engagement.
- Engage, assist, instruct, motivate, and monitor individuals in social/recreational, skill‑building, and family‑directed activities.
- Learn individualized services of each client and participate in routine implementation.
- Accompany client to appointments, social functions, recreational activities, and other events; provide transportation.
- Complete related records as required and instructed by contract or supervisor in confidential, safe‑keeping format.
- Respond to routine inquiries, visitors, client’s family, friends, and allied staff or professionals per program standards.
- Submit weekly or bi‑weekly timesheets with activity summaries in a timely manner.
- Minimum 18 years.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years experience supporting individuals with Autism in home or community.

The hourly rate ranges from $17.00 to $22.00, determined by the program coordinator based on individual needs and agency policies.
