Granite City is looking for a professional Driver to join our delivery team in Chicopee, MA. Approximate hours are 8:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday, 4 nights per week. The Night Driver will load the truck, drive to customer locations and other GCE hubs, unload, and deliver product in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. The candidate will maintain the vehicle in good condition and ensure paperwork is current and accurate, and provide superior customer service.

• Deliver material to customers efficiently and safely.
• Conduct pre‑and post‑trip inspections.
• Ensure truck is in safe operating condition, clean and professional, and adheres to DOT regulations.
• Effectively communicate with external customers while providing first‑class delivery service.
• Provide feedback to supervisors to maintain efficiency in driving routes.
• Acquire and maintain current knowledge of GCE policies and procedures, participate in training, and attend meetings as requested.
• Maintain professional appearance.
• Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment.
• Follow all SOPs for the position, maintain high order accuracy and on‑time delivery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years professional driving experience.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, Medical DOT Card.
• Experience with routing software preferred.

• Professional driving skills with valid license.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Good math and reading skills.
• Ability to understand maps/GPS.
• Ability to walk, stand, sit.
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stoop frequently.
• Ability to climb in and out of truck routinely.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
