Rail Hostler Driver​/Ground Person

Pacific Rail Services is looking for Driver Laborers to join our team at the West Springfield, MA railyard. This is a recession-proof, essential job with long-term stability and great earning potential. No experience? No problem! We’ll train you on everything you need to succeed.

• Operate a jockey truck to maneuver 53ft trailers, containers, and chassis within the yard.
• Perform ground duties including climbing railcars, managing track locks, and handling Inner Box Connectors (IBCs).
• Assist in loading/unloading equipment with packer operators using hand signals.
• Participate in stacking/unstacking chassis and managing chassis racks.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• The position includes the duties of both a Hostler Driver & a Ground Person.

• Starting Pay: $19/hr.
• After Training: $20/hr (typically after 2–3 months).
• Annual Earnings: $50,000–$65,000 with overtime.
