Production Worker 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Follow all plant safety rules and regulations.
• Utilize proper PPE at all times.
• Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001.
• Complete manufacturing and quality documents.
• Communicate internally regarding deviations or general requests.
• Assist with 6S and lean manufacturing practices.
• Verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete required reports internally.
• Independently operate machines and equipment to produce parts to required tolerances.
• Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed.
• Install plugs, capseals, rings, and other parts or materials as specified.
• Utilize hand tools—including air guns, plug wrenches, and capseal tools—in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining production flow.
• Demonstrate capability in all plant areas during general labor rotation.
• Report conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety immediately to the production manager, SHEQ, or plant manager.
• Use company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, and other metrics.
• Follow direction and required product quantities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Perform any additional duties as required or requested.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in industrial manufacturing.

• Problem‑solving:
  Provide innovative solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Verbal communication:
  Transfer information clearly to operators, maintenance, and management.
• Written communication:
  Produce legible production, quality, and inventory reports.
• Math:
  Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios.
• Computer:
  Proficiency with internal manufacturing systems.

• Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
• Stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Good hand/eye/foot coordination.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes or airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Vision 20/20 corrected; normal hearing range.
• Work in non‑climate‑controlled environments—cold in winter, hot in summer.

• Boots: steel‑ or composite‑toed.
• Safety glasses.
• Gloves: latex, work gloves, etc.
• Hearing protection.
• Cut‑resistant sleeves.
• Properly fitted clothing.
• Hard hat (in designated areas).
