Production Worker 3rd Shift – Mauser Packaging Solutions
Role Overview
Join our team as a Production Worker during the 3rd shift to support continuous, high‑quality manufacturing of packaging components. You will operate machines, maintain production standards, and uphold safety and quality protocols across the plant.
- Operate production machines, tools, and equipment to produce parts that meet tolerance and quality specifications.
- Read and understand customer specification sheets, anticipate next order needs, and stage supplies/products accordingly.
- Follow all plant safety rules and regulations; wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Ensure continuous quality control, complete necessary manufacturing/quality documents, and report any deviations.
- Assist with 6S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Verify compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Use various hand tools (air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools) safely and efficiently.
- Report safety, product, or material concerns immediately to the Production Manager, SHEQ or Plant Manager.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area.
- Attend all required meetings and training sessions.
- Perform any other duties as requested by management.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in industrial manufacturing (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem‑solving ability and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Proficiency with internal manufacturing systems.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, ratios).
- Lift up to 50 lbs. as needed during the shift.
- Stand, kneel/stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Coordination and exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes, airborne particles, and weather conditions.
- Vision: 20/20 corrected; normal hearing range.
- Work in non‑climate controlled environments (cold in winter, hot in summer).
- Steel or composite toed boots.
- Safety glasses.
- Gloves (latex, work gloves, etc.).
- Hearing protection.
- Cut‑resistant sleeves.
- Properly fitted clothing.
- Hard hat (in designated areas).
