Registered Nurse- Emergency Department

Job Description

Hedrick Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to join our dedicated and collaborative ED team. In this role, you will triage, assess, treat, and coordinate the care and disposition of patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. You'll work alongside a supportive and team-oriented group of professionals committed to delivering exceptional care to our community.

Full Time Nights, rotating holidays and weekends.

• Triage and prioritize incoming patients based on acuity.
• Deliver timely and efficient emergency nursing care.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage documentation and patient education during the emergency care process.
• Accountable for utilizing the nursing process; perform patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff; coordinate the plan of care for assigned patients and consult with other members of the health care team as needed.

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures.

• Active Missouri RN license or compact state license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience.
