- $180/hr. on w2

Duration: 6 months to Long term
Shift: 08:00am-04:00pm (M-F)
Shifts/week: 2 Shifts/week

Summary:
Searching for a board-certified psychiatrist to provide part-time on-site services (minimum of 2-day shifts/week) to the male population at this facility. Will also accept full-time services, although those additional hours may be utilized to provide coverage to other facilities via telehealth or to provide on-site services at the male correctional facility located across the street. Schedule is weekdays (no nights, weekends, or holidays).

Start/end times are somewhat flexible based on the needs of the facility. Selected psychiatrist will meet with 12-16 patients per 8-hour shift. Assignment is projected to last 6 months and may be extended based on mutual agreement. Assignment could lead to permanent hire. Both a phone interview and on-site meeting/tour will be required.

Job Description:

• Working collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record system

• Conducting exams and writing evaluations and reports

• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing

• Managing medication

• Making referrals for specialized care or treatment

• Performing duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standards

• Participating in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviews

• Engaging in collaborative agreements, as needed

Required:

• BLS/ CPR certification

• Drug Enforcement Administration certification.

• Copy of Board Certification

• Ohio Medical License
