Occupational Therapist-CLT (Certified Lymphedema Therapist) (FT-Days) – Adena Wellness Center Rehab Position Summary

Staff Occupational Therapists are responsible for direct patient care, evaluating and treating a variety of individuals based on the clinical setting. The successful candidate will exhibit strong customer‑service skills, clinical skills, and a focus on patient outcomes. They must practice with high moral and professional standards, be driven toward continuous professional development, and demonstrate effective time‑management and teamwork skills. Supervisory responsibilities for assistants involved in patient care are required.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program in Occupational Therapy.

Preferred Education

Master’s degree. BLS – Basic Life Support. Must have passed the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification Exam and hold an Ohio license as an Occupational Therapist (or be eligible for one). De‑escalation training within 6 months.

Preferred Experience

1–2 years of prior experience delivering direct patient care to individuals with orthopedic, neurologic, developmental, and cognitive deficits. New graduates with strong clinical and professional skills will also be considered.

Job Specific Essential Functions

Practice Occupational Therapy consistent with, and knowledgeable of, the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Manage time effectively to meet productivity standards while maintaining compliance and quality. Facilitate coordination of care with other medical professionals, community resources, patients, and caregivers to improve health, wellness, and quality of life. Directly oversee and assist with skill development of Occupational Therapy assistants.
