X Ray Technologist (90%, Full time, Variable shift) Western Ave. Health Center

What You'll Do

• Utilizes effective communication to ensure customer identification, education, safety and satisfaction.
• Organized, timely, and accurate completion of procedures relative to department standards.
• Accurate, complete, legible documentation of all patient information.
• Communication and documentation of all variations from protocol.
• Accurate administration of contrast material (oral, I.V. or port) and successful venipuncture and port access via system IV Therapy policy.
• Acts with patients/families of all age groups:
  Neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatrics.
• Communication and documentation of equipment variations
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department and health system.

Minimum Qualifications

• Required Educational Degree:
  Graduate of an Accredited Program
• Major/Area of Concentration:
  Radiologic Technology
• RRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License. ARRT - Registered Radiologic Technologist with Current Ohio License. BLS - Basic Life Support(must obtain within first 30 days of employment).
• New graduates:
  Must have passed ARRT registry exam to be Ohio Department of Health license eligible before start date. Must obtain Ohio license within first 14 days of employment.
