Job Summary

Adena Health is seeking a dedicated Dietetic Technician to join our Nutrition Team in an acute care medical center setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative clinical nutrition environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Dietitian with patient data collection, nutrition screening, and modified menu planning.
  • Assist patients in completing menu selections.
  • Follow all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
  • Comply with all regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies, while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
  • Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
  • Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
Qualifications
  • Credentialed as a Nutrition and Dietetics Technician, registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) – preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related science – required.
  • One year of hospital experience – preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical record & diet office systems, and nutrient analysis programming.
