- Pay range: $16.50 – $17.65 per hour, based on experience
- On‑site at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, OH
- Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity/compliance checks, provide patient instructions, collect insurance information, process physician orders, and use overlay tools while delivering excellent customer service measured by Press Ganey.
- Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter‑office calls as applicable.
- Adhere to policies and provide compassionate customer service in all interactions.
- Meet assigned point‑of‑service goals.
- Utilize quality auditing and reporting systems to ensure accurate accounts, conduct audits, and provide statistical data to leadership.
- Pre‑register patient accounts prior to visits, including inbound/outbound calls for demographics, insurance, and financial liabilities, and collect point‑of‑service collections and past‑due balances.
- Explain consent for treatment forms, obtain signatures, distribute patient education documents, and manage all implemented forms and pamphlets.
- Review insurance eligibility responses, select appropriate plan code, enter benefit data to support POS collections, and assist with clean claim rates.
- Screen medical necessity using ABN software, inform Medicare patients of possible non‑payment, and distribute documentation as required.
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- CRCR required within 6 months of hire (company‑paid)
