A Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. Key responsibilities include conducting thorough patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and administering medications while educating patients about their treatments. The RN continuously monitors vital signs and patient conditions, performs wound care, and maintains accurate documentation. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential, as is the ability to respond to emergencies and manage crises.

Additionally, the RN follows infection control protocols, provides emotional support to patients and families, and engages in ongoing professional development to ensure the highest quality of care.
