Position SummaryAs the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will work closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee the clinical operations of the facility. You will lead, mentor, and support our nursing staff, ensuring compliance with all regulations and the delivery of high-quality care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents and staff.
Responsibilities- Assist the DON in planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance and support.
- Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
- Oversee resident care plans and ensure accurate documentation.
- Participate in staff development and training programs.
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Act as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and external stakeholders.
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
