Assistant Director Of Nursing; RN

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join the leadership team at a skilled nursing facility in the Chillicothe, Ohio area.

The ideal candidate will be a strong clinical leader with a passion for resident care, staff development, and maintaining high standards of nursing excellence.

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily nursing operations and clinical oversight.

• Support, mentor, and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality resident care.

• Monitor compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.

• Assist with infection prevention, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Participate in clinical audits, care planning, and survey preparation.

• Support staffing, scheduling, and employee retention efforts.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.

• Assist with staff education, training, and clinical competency development.

• Active RN license in the state of Ohio required.

• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of Ohio Department of Health regulations and survey processes.

• Experience with Point Click Care  (PCC) preferred.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead by example and foster a positive, team-oriented environment.

• Full-time, salaried leadership position.

• Monday through Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities as needed.
