• The cashier is responsible for running the cash register while providing a warm and courteous experience for our customers.
• Welcoming customers, answering questions, helping to locate items or a specialist for their needs, and providing recommendations when necessary.
• Operating scanners, cash register, and other electronics.
• Balancing the cash register and generating reports for management/daily use.
• Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
• Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
• Bagging purchases to ensure safe transport, offer to carry large items to customer’s vehicle.
• Following all store procedures regarding coupons and gift cards.
• Maintaining a clean work space.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• High Level of energy with strong customer service skills
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service
