Full-Time Accountant

Expand your accounting expertise as a Full-Time Accountant in Chilliwack, BC. This role requires strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reconciliations and analysis.

We are actively seeking an experienced Accountant to support our financial operations. With over five years in a senior or intermediate role, you will review transactional activity, prepare journal entries, and assist in month-end closings. Your strong analytical skills will be key in providing insights on budget variances and improving our accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify accounts payable and receivable transactions

• Complete balance sheet reconciliations including cash and AR

• Perform monthly subledger-to-ledger reconciliations

• Analyze budget and forecast variances

• Support audit processes and maintain financial data integrity

Requirements:

• Completed or in-progress CPA designation preferred

• Over 5 years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP system experience

• Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel

• Exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills
