Receptionist, Administrative​/Clerical

Position: Skowkale First Nation Receptionist Role
Join Skowkale First Nation as a Receptionist and be the first point of contact for our visitors. This in-person position requires friendly interaction and efficient office management.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and approachable individual to handle administrative tasks and greet visitors warmly. The role calls for excellent verbal and written communication abilities, knowledge of First Nations communities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all interactions. You will be responsible for managing phone calls, mail, and office supplies while promoting collaboration between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally greet and welcome visitors at the front desk

• Direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information

• Organize the front desk to maintain a welcoming environment

• Manage incoming/outgoing mail and correspondence

• Coordinate office supplies needs for all departments

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in an admin role

• Post-secondary education in business or a related area preferred

• Valid Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check

• Strong knowledge of First Nation culture

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
