The Senior Estimator will bring at least 5 years of experience in construction estimating, specifically within civil engineering. You will lead quantity takeoffs, bid preparations, and proposal assembling while ensuring alignment with safety and operational standards. Ideal candidates must be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed estimates for civil infrastructure projects
• Lead reviews and scopes of work for subcontractor bids
• Produce material take-offs and assist in project scheduling
• Monitor daily tender opportunities and public bid sites
• Conduct site visits as needed for project review
Requirements:
• 5+ years in civil and heavy civil estimating
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Team-player with ability to manage multiple tasks
• Construction management or engineering degree preferred
