This role involves addressing unique challenges related to geographic isolation while ensuring comprehensive medical services for travelers and locals. Key Responsibilities:
• Offer emergency care in a community health setting
• Manage triage and stabilization for arriving patients
• Support hospice care for patients nearing life's end
• Work with a dedicated team of healthcare workers
• Connect with the local community through health initiatives
Requirements:
• Certificates: FRCPC (Emergency Medicine), CCFP-EM, or ABEM
• Eligible for Provisional Licensure from CPSBC
•
Required:
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
• Personal commitment to diversity and cultural safety
• Open to meeting the demands of rural healthcare
