This role offers a thriving practice, diverse surgical opportunities, and participation in a Virtual Breast Clinic.
Fraser Health Authority seeks a General Surgeon to assume a busy practice at Chilliwack General Hospital. The position includes both elective and emergent endoscopy, with a call schedule of 1:6. As a teaching hospital affiliated with UBC and SFU, you will also engage in clinical preceptorship and academic teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake a broad range of community general surgeries
• Participate in elective and emergent endoscopic procedures
• Join Chilliwack's Virtual Breast Clinic if desired
• Teach and mentor medical trainees and surgical residents
• Engage in UBC's medical education program
Requirements:
• CMPA and CPSBC eligibility required
• FRCSC eligibility preferred
• Willingness to participate in teaching
• Availability for a 1:6 call schedule
• Commitment to patient-centered care
