Math & Science Teacher Summer Learning

Position: Math & Science Teacher for Summer Learning
Take part in Chilliwack Secondary School’s Summer Learning program as a Teacher for Math and Science, for Grades 9-12. This project runs from July 6 to 31, 2026, from 8:15 to 12:45.

Chilliwack Secondary School is hiring two educators for this special project assignment. The successful candidates should have extensive qualifications and teaching experience in Math and Science, with the ability to support students facing learning challenges. Teachers will effectively differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging Math and Science lessons

• Adapt instruction to support diverse learners

• Motivate students experiencing difficulties engaging with content

• Provide regular progress reports and involve parents

• Collaboratively develop the summer program

Requirements:

• Extensive teaching credentials in Math and Science

• Previous experience in Summer Learning programs

• Strong classroom management abilities

• Familiarity with Ministry of Education practices

• Willingness to take on leadership roles
