Position: Fargo Early Childhood Para educator Role

Empower young learners as an Early Childhood Special Education Para educator in Fargo Public Schools.

This role offers 35 hours weekly, focusing on tailored educational support during the school year.

Positioned at the Longfellow Campus, this position is centered around delivering personalized learning experiences for students through collaboration with the IEP Team. Communication and understanding of children’s needs are vital. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant volunteer or work experience in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement learning activities designed by teachers

• Communicate and cooperate with families effectively

• Assist children in their educational growth

• Document key student interactions and milestones

• Help create a safe, engaging learning atmosphere

Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED

• Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders

• Basic understanding of educational techniques and tools

• Previous experience in educational contexts preferred

• An Associate's degree in relevant field is a plus
