Salary Range: $54,866-$87,523 (based on annual salary, education/certificate and experience)

Plan and implement multi-modal and place-based learning instruction for Grades 6-8 Math curriculum and Grade 6-9 Career Education and chapel. Instructional requirements will involve planning for place-based learning each week. This position will also include grades 6-9 numeracy intervention as a Resource Teacher. Responsibilities will also include creating individualized learning update comments, hosting parent‑teacher conferences, tracking homework, leading devotions and praying with students.

They will also be required to participate in school functions such as Pro‑D days and awards nights.

• Possess or be in the process of attaining a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Be eligible to work in British Columbia.
• Be willing to receive guidance from a mentor.
• Be proficient in using educational technology to promote and support learning.
• Know effective strategies for and be familiar with UDL and place-based learning.
• Candidates should be interested in including learning opportunities outside the classroom on the school grounds or off‑site.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents.
• Have strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Communicate a biblical worldview throughout all subjects.
