Part-Time Art Teacher

Visual Arts 6-9

Employment Type: Part-Time 0.1 (3-4 hours per week)

Salary Range: $5,486-$8752 (dependent on education/certificate experience)

Plan and implement instruction for Grade 6-9 Visual Art courses. Create individualized learning update comments, participate with parent‑teacher conferences, track homework, lead devotions and pray with students. Participate in required school functions such as Pro‑D days and awards nights.

• Possess or be in the process of attaining a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Be eligible to work in British Columbia.
• Be willing to receive guidance from a mentor.
• Know effective strategies for and be familiar with UDL and place‑based learning.
• Candidates should be interested in including learning opportunities outside the classroom on the school grounds or off‑site.
• Be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents.
• Have strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Communicate a biblical worldview within class.
