In this continuing contract at A.D. Rundle Middle School, you will be responsible for supporting students with moderate to severe intellectual disabilities and other learning challenges. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of special education practices and possess the ability to develop tailored instruction plans in collaboration with educators and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement diverse assessment methods for student evaluation

• Design and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

• Collaborate with Educational Assistants to enhance learning

• Facilitate life skills groups and coordinate support

• Engage with external organizations for resource coordination

Requirements:

• Extensive training in special education theory and practices

• Ability to address a range of behavioral and academic needs

• Strong skills in communication and collaboration

• Experience with educational technology like MyEd and Ed Plan

• Commitment to cultural inclusivity in teaching practices
