Position: Facilitator for International Student Homestay
Join the Homestay team as a Facilitator, focusing on international student engagement and support.

Your role will involve fostering connections with host families and ensuring a seamless experience for students.

This casual position demands travel throughout the district and effective collaboration with various stakeholders, including students, parents, and district personnel. Strong skills in communication, time management, and problem-solving are essential to address concerns and maintain a harmonious atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support international students with personalized guidance

• Recruit and assess homestay families thoroughly

• Monitor homestay experiences through regular visits

• Coordinate communications between families and schools

• Assist in planning orientation and networking events

Requirements:

• Completion of high school and additional relevant training

• Two years' experience in a cross-cultural K-12 environment

• Ability to obtain Psychological First Aid training

• Access to a vehicle and BC driver's license

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
