Cascade Christian Part-Time Art Teacher

Join Cascade Christian School as a Part-Time Art Teacher for Grades 6-9 and inspire students through creative visual expression. This role emphasizes a blend of artistry and a biblical perspective in teaching.

We seek an experienced educator with a strong commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment. You will implement curriculum focused on visual arts while engaging students in discussions about their faith and creativity. Closely work with students and parents to enhance student development and participation in school activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute engaging Visual Art lesson plans

• Create individualized learning feedback for students

• Conduct parent conferences and communicate effectively

• Lead classroom prayers and devotional activities

• Contribute to school events, including Pro-D days

Requirements:

• Must possess or be working towards a BC Professional Teaching Certificate

• Must be eligible to work in British Columbia

• Familiarity with UDL and place-based learning methods

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• A commitment to integrating a biblical worldview into lessons
