Enhance learning for all students as an Inclusive Education Teacher at Spirit of Hope Secondary School in Hope, B.C. This full-time term role emphasizes specialized instruction and support.
Beginning September 8, 2026, this position focuses on aiding students with various designations while collaborating effectively with educators and educational assistants.

Your role includes managing a case load of students, coordinating Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and providing necessary support for integration into regular classes. Your contributions will be vital in creating an inclusive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom teachers with instructional strategies

• Write and co-ordinate Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

• Lead assessments and keep accurate records

• Engage in school team meetings to advocate for students

• Facilitate integration training for staff
Requirements:

• Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or equivalent

• At least two years teaching experience in inclusion-focused settings

• Experience as Learning Assistance Teacher preferred

• Understanding of current inclusive educational practices
