Substitute Teacher ECE at CEFA

Join CEFA Early Learning in Chilliwack as a licensed Substitute Teacher in our childcare for ages 1-5. This on-call position offers competitive pay and a supportive teaching environment.

CEFA Early Learning is seeking qualified substitute teachers for its Cottonwood location.

Your role will involve developing quality programs aligned with the CEFA curriculum, assessing children's needs, and maintaining a safe classroom environment. Collaboration with staff and open communication with parents are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging programs based on the CEFA curriculum

• Maintain a secure, healthy environment for children

• Assess abilities and discuss child progress with parents

• Communicate clearly in both written and oral forms

• Support children's self-help skills and independence

Requirements:

• Valid BC ECEA, ECE, or ECE IT license required

• Current Emergency First Aid & CPR-C Certification

• Previous CEFA experience or certification is a plus
