Become an Education Assistant at Agassiz Elementary Secondary School for the  school year. Work 6.25 hours daily supporting educators and students in a vibrant learning environment.

This position runs from September 8, 2026, until June 25, 2027, or until the return of the current employee. You will engage in vital educational support tasks, contributing positively to student experiences. The hourly rate ranges from $25.40 to $31.33, with applications due by August 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional activities

• Support students during lessons and individual tasks

• Prepare educational materials and resources

• Monitor student behaviors and provide positive reinforcement

• Collect and organize student work for assessment

Requirements:

• Commitment to assisting in educational settings

• Willingness to undergo a criminal record review

• Previous experience in educational support is beneficial

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Available for 6.25 hours per day, five days a week
