Reporting to the Senior Educational Developer, Faculty Excellence & Development, we are hiring an Educational Developer to join the Centre for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI). As our new Educational Developer, you will support the continued growth and evolution of faculty development across Yorkville University and Toronto Film School, taking ownership of established programs while identifying and developing new initiatives in response to emerging faculty, teaching, and learning needs.

You will collaborate with faculty, academic teams, and colleagues across CTEI to develop and deliver programming, resources, consultations, and development opportunities that strengthen teaching practices and enhance student learning across diverse disciplines and learning environments, with an initial focus on new faculty onboarding and supporting the growing needs of Nursing and Health Sciences programming.

This is a remote role with periodic multi-day travel to campuses in Ontario, New Brunswick, and British Columbia, as well as conferences.

Impact. You will have the opportunity to influence teaching and learning beyond a single classroom, supporting faculty across disciplines, programs, campuses, and learning environments. Your work will help strengthen how faculty teach, respond to evolving learner needs, and create meaningful educational experiences for students, with an initial opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of Nursing and Health Sciences programming.

As the Centre continues to grow and scale its support for faculty, you will have the opportunity to build on established programming while bringing forward new ideas, responding to emerging trends in teaching and learning, and helping shape initiatives and resources that meet changing faculty and student needs.

You will have the support and mentorship of a team deeply invested in teaching excellence, along with opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and connect with faculty and colleagues on campuses across Canada.
