Strength and Conditioning Teacher at Sardis Secondary

Enhance student physical performance as a full-time Strength and Conditioning teacher at Sardis Secondary School. This temporary position focuses on Physical Education and requires strong teaching methods.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Strength and Conditioning instruction, while ensuring alignment with the Ministry of Education's standards. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of secondary Physical Education teaching experience and expertise in Olympic and Power Lifting or Crossfit. Collaborate with motivated students to promote success and implement innovative strategies for assessment and classroom management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Strength and Conditioning and Physical Education courses

• Implement effective assessment strategies for student learning

• Motivate and support struggling learners in the classroom

• Collaborate with staff, administration, and parents for student success

• Utilize technology to enhance instructional practice

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience teaching Physical Education

• Extensive training in Olympic/Power Lifting or Crossfit Level 1

• Strong knowledge of the Ministry of Education standards
