Part-Time Counsellor at Stitó:s School

Engage young minds as a Part-Time Counsellor at Stitó:s Lá:lém Totí:lt Elementary/Middle School. Focus on behaviour support and mental health while bringing your expertise to our team.

This temporary councellor role is part-time, specifically on Mondays, starting September 1, 2026. You will implement proven Social-Emotional Learning strategies and collaborate with educators, parents, and students for effective behavioural support. Bring your Master's degree and specific qualifications to help foster a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioural screenings and assessments

• Collaborate on Positive Behaviour Support Plans

• Provide in-service coaching for teachers

• Implement a school-wide Social-Emotional Learning program

• Support student transitions within the school

Requirements:

• Master's in counselling psychology or related field

• Experience with behaviour disorders and mental health support

• Knowledge of inclusive educational practices

• Commitment to First People’s Principles of Learning

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams
