Become a vital part of Sardis Secondary School as a Career Advisor. Provide essential career planning assistance to students, educators, and parents in a dynamic environment.

The Career Advisor works minimally yet effectively to help students navigate their future career paths. This role calls for experience in guiding adolescents, demonstrating computer search programs, and managing the Career Centre. You'll collaborate with staff and external resources to ensure that students receive up-to-date information on scholarships, educational programs, and work placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule advising appointments for students

• Guide students in using the career search software

• Answer inquiries from parents and staff

• Maintain current materials in the Career Centre

• Organize events like guest speakers and field trips

Requirements:

• High school diploma with two years of further education

• Six months' experience with adolescents

• Basic word processing and database knowledge

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to collaborate while managing multiple tasks
